DPR Submission

Any sponsoring body desirous of establishing Self-Finance University may submit an application along with a detailed project report and Rs.5.00 lakhs as a processing fees.

Scrutiny committee

On receipt of the proposal and detailed project report for establishment of the University, the Government shall get the Proposal and DPR reviewed by the committee set up by the Government

Letter of Intent

If the Government is satisfied that it is advisable to establish the university, it may issue a Letter of Intent, with such terms and conditions as per the Guidelines

Compliance Report

The sponsoring body shall fulfil the requirements and conditions and shall report the compliance to the Government within a maximum period of one year from the date of issue of Letter of Intent.

Inspection Committee

On receiving the compliance report, the Government shall appoint a Committee as may be specified, to verify the compliance report

Submission to Cabinet

If all the terms and conditions fulfilled, the proposal will be submitted for the approval of the cabinet.

Enactment of Bill

After approval of the cabinet, the bill for establishing Self-Finance University shall be submitted to both the houses of the assembly. After approval of the bill by the assembly the Self-Finance University shall be established.

Secretarial Committee

The secretarial committee shall verify and ensure fulfillment of the tasks as per the undertakings provided by the sponsoring body and compliance to the guidelines for self-financed University. The Committee shall submit its report to the Government. State Government shall then, publish the notification, only after which the University shall become operational.

Compliance of Act

After approval of Secretary level Committee, The Sponsoring body can start the University while ensuring Compliance to schedules of the Act and Information regarding fulfilment of provisions in the act shall be provided to the department such as University Authorities & Committees, legal Framework, Annual Report etc
